Israel Lacrosse Announces 2026 European Men’s Sixes Championship Roster

The ILA has finalized its 12-man roster for the 2026 European Men’s Sixes Lacrosse Championship.

The Mediterranean Sports Hub in Salou, Spain, will host 23 of the continent’s national teams from November 10-18 in the first edition of the European Men’s Sixes Lacrosse Championship. The sports complex includes grass fields, turf fields, and a stadium and is located about 100 kilometers west of Barcelona along the southern Spanish coast.

The tournament’s results will decide Europe’s representatives at the 2027 World Lacrosse Sixes Championship, which will only feature 16 teams. The results of that event will determine which nations qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The European Lacrosse Federation (ELF) drew the four 2026 European Men’s Sixes Lacrosse Championship groups in September. Israel entered the draw in Pot 1 and landed in Group C, alongside Ireland, France, Norway, Croatia, and Austria.

Israel’s men’s field team is currently ranked No. 1 in Europe following a historic 2025 European Men’s Lacrosse Championship campaign. The Blue-and-White went undefeated across seven games in Wroclaw, then defeated Italy, 9–8, in the final to claim Israel’s first-ever European men’s title.

Now, the reigning European champions will look to carry that momentum into the Sixes competition in Salou. Half of this year’s Sixes roster also played on Israel’s championship-winning team last year.

Below are the 12 men who will play for Israel in Spain this November.

Coaching & Support Staff

Scott Hiller will lead the sideline for the Blue-and-White.

The ILA announced Hiller as its Men’s Sixes head coach earlier this year in preparation for this tournament. A highly accomplished coach at the collegiate and professional levels, Israel Lacrosse is confident in Hiller’s ability to bring that same success to the international game.

“Scott is the consummate professional,” ILA Executive Director Ian Kadish said in February. “He brings a competitive vision and drive that is unmatched. He is every bit Team Israel’s best chance to not only qualify for the Olympics but win a medal in 2028.”

Brad MacArthur (assistant coach), Colin Munro (assistant coach), Denyse Beaumont (physio), and Seth Mahler (general manager) will round out Hiller’s support staff. You can read more about them here.
