Jake Silberlicht

Jake, or “Yakov,” has been a dedicated member of Israel Lacrosse since 2013. His journey with the sport began with a passion for the game that led him to the Men’s National teams in 2014. By 2016, his leadership qualities earned him the role of team captain. Today, he serves as the VP of External Affairs, where he works tirelessly to grow the sport and make it accessible to all, from small towns to big cities across Israel.

What Jake loves most about his work with Israel Lacrosse is the chance to use the sport as a tool for creating opportunities for less fortunate Israeli youth, both Jewish and Arab. For him, lacrosse is more than just a game; it’s a bridge to connect communities and offer hope.

When he’s not on the field, you can find Jake enjoying falafel or hiking through the rugged beauty of the Negev Desert, a place that inspires his drive and commitment to making a difference.
