The Israel Lacrosse Association, the national governing body of lacrosse in Israel, is seeking sports management, communications, marketing, or physical education students who are looking for a unique and challenging internship opportunity in the heart of the Middle East.

With lacrosse in its’ infancy in our region – existing in Israel since just 2010 – participants will have the opportunity to be hands on in the grassroots development of the sport, serving as pioneers for the growth of lacrosse in Israel.

During their stay in Israel, internship duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Public Relations
• Event Planning
• Player procurement
• Fundraising
• Marketing
• Working with Israeli youth lacrosse players
• Operations and logistics

Competitive candidates must be hardworking, dedicated students able to work independently and as a team. They must have a GPA of 3.4 in major, and strong character references. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and adaptable. It is crucial that candidates have excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

While no previous professional experience is necessary, it is strongly encouraged. Upperclassman or graduate students are preferred.

Previous lacrosse playing and/or coaching experience is a plus, but not required.

Housing with other interns and/or basic Hebrew classes are also available.
